The vas deferens or ductus deferens carries sperm up the spermatic cord and around the urinary bladder where it forms the ejaculatory duct with the duct of the seminal vesicle. The lumen of the ductus (vas) deferens is lined with pseudostratified epithelium that have stereocilia. Therefore, it looks a lot like the lumen of the epididymis. However, the mucosal layer is surrounded by a longitudinal muscle layer. This is a different from all the other slides where the mucosal has a submucosal layer and also the first layer is a circular muscle layer. In the ductus (vas) deferens, the circular muscle layer surrounds the inner longitudinal layer and the circulatory layer is surrounded by another outer longitudinal layer. These layers have peristaltic contractions during ejaculation. These contractions propel the sperm towards the urethra. These pictures were taken by me in the spring of 2021.
