This lab is really to teach you how to use the microscope. One of the first things that students do is to harvest ... er.. collect a sample of their cheek cells and make a microscope slide out of it. I personally think this is fun and the students get to see how slides are made.
On this page are cheek cells that were collected by me and taken with the microscope camera in the fall of 2024. Look through the cells and compare them with your own.
